Taping and Arm crossing…

For this month’s addition to sportEX, I would like to present a review of two articles which highlight  different concepts for controlling arm pain.  The first article is a case series, published in this month’s edition of the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT). This article highlights the use of a directional tape application to decrease symptoms of intersection syndrome. The second article is wildly fascinating and highlights the concept that crossing your arms may decrease pain.  As I highlighted in earlier blogs,  pain is complex but if the threat to tissue damage can be controlled, the output of pain can will subside!

TAKE ME TO THE ARTICLE!!
